The Red Elm is the virtual home of Mar Reddy-Hjelmfelt.
Mar comes from an academic background in cognitive science and is a former award-winning reference book editor. This experience is combined with nearly 20 years of data analysis and operations work for Fortune 100 companies.
Mar is highly engaged in social media, with a focus on using technology for good, and is involved in humanitarian uses of technology and social media and emergency management. She is currently co-founder of EMCampNM and the lead of PNW VOST, which is in its fifth year of providing virtual support to Type 1 incident management teams in the Pacific Northwest.
